How long have you been performing?
I have been for over 15 years. I got my start by DJing between live music sets at weddings, quinceañeras and nightclubs.
Can you provide references?
Of course. Contact me and I will get you a list of satisfied clients. You can also read some reviews on google, wedding wire, the knot, and my facebook page,
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes, I have a 1 million dollar policy that many venues require.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a 25% deposit and a signed contract will hold your date. Check out my competitive prices for weddings and other special events.
When is the remaining balance due?
2 weeks before the event by check or cash or the day of the event in cash.
Can you stay for overtime?
Whenever it is possible, I can stay and keep the party going.
Do you offer up-lighting or additional sound systems?
Yes, I have 30 uplights that can be programed to any color. I can also bring in additional sound systems for the ceremony and cocktail. You can look at all my quality equipment here.
Do you have back up equipment?
Yes, I bring extra speakers, cables and microphones to my events.
Can you help me plan over the phone and email?
I am available to discuss any details of your event on the phone or by email. I can also meet with you in person in Denver, or Centennial or Aurora at least once to assure your event is a success. I can also setup a zoom video call.
Do you provide free Event Planning tools and resources?
Yes, once you sign a contract I will send you forms to help select music and plan the itinerary.
Can I choose some or all of the music?
I have a large collection of music and I am open to requests the day of the event. I can be in charge of picking all the music , play all of your music selections in the order you choose, or a mix and match of both. I use my discretion to read the crowd and play music that enhances the mood I can beat-match and keep the music playing continuously like a professional dj. You can also bring in any cds or mp3 players to plug in directly into the sound system.
Will you be the DJ at my event?
Yes. One of the advantages to hiring me is knowing that I will be the person performing at your event. Other companies do not allow you to meet your dj beforehand, or charge you a fee in order to select the dj of your choice. I will meet with you in person for an initial consultation so you can have confidence that I will do a great job. I may bring an assistant with me occasionally to set up and coordinate.
How will you be dressed for my event?
I will dress the in a way that matches the event. For most events, I typically wear a suit and tie. If you require a tux, Hawaiian shirt, cowboy boots or anything else, I am willing to accommodate you.
Do you take any breaks?
For an event under six hours, I don't need to take any breaks.
Do we have to feed or tip you?
I do not require a meal during the event. If you choose to provide one, I will gladly accept it, but you shouldnt feel like you need to provide one. Tipping is a very nice way to let me know that I did a great job, but it is not required. Tip only if you feel that I provided outstanding service throughout the entire process.
Can I see you perform at a wedding?
No, unless you are invited guest to the wedding. I would not allow anyone to come to your wedding uninvited, and I extend that professional courtesy to all of my clients.
Can you make my announcements in English and in Spanish?
I am completely fluent in both languages and can help communicate with all your guests.
